Lebara Mobile launches service in Switzerland

UK-based pre-paid mobile services provider Lebara Mobile has
launched services in Switzerland, targeting foreign nationals.
This is the 7th European market outside of the UK where
Lebara operates. It also provides mobile services in the Netherlands,
Belgium , Denmark , Norway , Sweden and Spain . In Switzerland,
Lebara is charging CHF 0.49 a minute for national fixed
calls, CHF 0.39 a minute for Lebara Mobile to Lebara Mobile
calls, and CHF 0.49 for calls to other national mobile networks.
Domestic text messages cost CHF 0.14 each. It offers cheap
international call rates. For instance, it charges CHF 0.29 a minute
for calls to Pakistan and India , CHF 0.39 for calls to Iraq ,
EUR 0.19 for calls to Western Europe, CHF 0.29 for calls to
Colombia , CHF 0.19 for calls to the US , CHF 0.19 for calls
to Thailand , and CHF 0.35 a minute for calls to the Philippines.
International text messages cost a flat-rate CHF 0.23 each,
with international MMS messages costing CHF 1.
